Extension Requests

If you need to request an extension you must contact your DEU Student Support Representative two weeks before your course ends. It is in your best interest to try to complete your studies by your End Date, otherwise, you will receive an incomplete grade and risk NOT receiving the college credits associated with your course plus the possibility of having your wages garnished to pay back military tuition assistance.

To request an extension:

1.     Contact your Student Support Representative for an Extension Request Form.

2.     Upon completion of the Extension Request Form, you may be granted a maximum 90 day extension.

3.     You will receive a confirmation via e-mail from your Student Support Representative with a new course End Date.

4.     It is your responsibility to inform your Representative once you are complete.
